LINKdotNET, a subsidiary of ORASCOM TELECOM, has won the 2008 Emerging Brand of the Year Award in the Internet Solutions category. The award was received by Mr. Aamer Manzoor (CCO, LINKdotNET) on behalf of the Company from the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr. Yusuf Raza Gillani in a ceremony held on 26th November, 2008.
The award is conferred by the Brand Awards Council, which consists of representing agencies from the Government of Pakistan, Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan (IPO) and Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) amongst others. This award highlights the most promising local brands and showcases them.
The CEO of LINKdotNET Pakistan, Mr. Ahmed Khalaf said, “This award recognizes the quality of service LINKdotNET provides to its consumers while also focusing on the fact that LINKdotNET has become a major player in the Pakistan IT/Telecom sector within only one year of starting its operations in Pakistan.”
